Datasheets in VetMed Resource
VetMed Resource contains datasheets on diseases, pathogens, and animal breeds for a variety of species, with many including zoomable distribution maps.
1. To browse available Datasheets, start your search on the VetMed Resource homepage. Enter your search term in the search box and click Search. Once results are retrieved, then select the "Articles/Chapters" tab at the top of the results.
From the Filter column at the left, under the filter "Content Type", select Datasheet.
All datasheets available on the term you searched will show in the results. You will see Datasheet in each citation retrieved. Select the Full Text link to open the datasheet.
2. Within the datasheet results list, you can use filters to limit by publication date, author, datasheet type, domain, kingdom, phylum, subphylum, class, and language.
3. At the left side of each datasheet, an outline of its contents can be found. The contents of each datasheet will vary. To skip to a particular section of the datasheet, click the link to that section in the summary outline of contents.
4. Within the datasheet, topics with an associated datasheet will have a hyperlink to that datasheet. Also, citations with a record indexed in VetMed Resource will be hyperlinked to that record. These links will appear in blue text.
