- The LGBTQ+ ProjectThe LGBTQ+ Project offers a number of resources for faculty, staff, students, and community members throughout their webpage. You can also learn about upcoming events, getting Safe Space Trained, and our LGBTQ+ student organizations.
- The LGBTQ+ CenterThe LGBTQ+ Project now has space in Coates Hall room 175. Regular semester hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, closed on Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Safe Spaces at LSU LibrariesThrough the LSU Office of Multicultural Affairs’ LGBTQ Project, a number of LSU Libraries staff members have completed Safe Space training to learn how to be better allies to the LGBTQ+ students on campus. The goal of the Safe Space Campaign is to identify and educate those who wish to support all individuals regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.
- Library Subject Specialist DirectoryThe LSU Libraries supports the academic mission of the university by fostering teaching, learning, and research. From the Libraries' staff directory, the contact information of librarians of varying specialized areas can be found and appointments can be made, as needed.
- Baton Rouge's LGBTQ Community: Then and NowA collection of oral history that can be found in the Williams' collection, these interviews focus on the LGBTQ community in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from the 1950s to the 2000s. Interviewees describe what it was like to identify as gay at a time when negative stereotypes were pervasive, and discuss the changes they’ve witnessed as LGBTQ causes have become more mainstream. Interviewees share personal experiences of marriages and relationships, coming out, and recount their involvement and activism in the LGBTQ and Baton Rouge communities whether social, political, religious, or related to HIV/AIDS causes.Located on LSU's campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the T. Harry Williams Center is a research department within Louisiana State University Libraries. The Center's mission aligns with the Libraries' core mission that includes creating new knowledge, teaching research skills, and preserving Louisiana's diverse culture.
- OUTlawOUTlaw was formed to create a climate at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in which it is safe and comfortable to be openly lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or an ally (“LGBT”). The organization exists to provide support and a sense of community while simultaneously engaging in political activism and advocacy.
- QromaQroma is an organization which seeks to support the campus' lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students of color through service, programming, and social outreach. This student organization hopes to address the struggles that are paired with being queer students of color on LSU's campus.
- SpectrumSpectrum empowers and supports LSU lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning and asexual/aromantic (LGBTQA+) communities as well as their allies, by providing social support, education, programming, and opportunities to participate in campus and community activism.
- Louisiana Trans Advocates at LSULouisiana Trans Advocates aims to strengthen and support transgender and allied communities across Louisiana through social support, education, empowerment, and advocacy. The LSU chapter aims to make resources and events more accessible for students.
- LSU LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff CaucusThe LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Caucus strives to serve the needs of LGBTQ+ employees by promoting understanding of LGBTQ+ concerns and providing assistance, education, and social interaction. Any employee of LSU is welcome to join.
- LSU's Office of Diversity and InclusionThe Office of Diversity and Inclusion's goal of inclusive excellence is to merge diversity and inclusion in university operations and processes which will continuously improve the experiences and outcome for underserved and marginalized students, faculty, and staff. Priorities include student success, faculty recruitment and retention and education and scholarship focused on inclusive teaching, research and professional development.

- LGBTQIA+ Studies: A Resource GuideThe Library of Congress Online Catalog is the main access point for the Library's collections. The LOC's LGBTQIA+ research guide is a resource that can help the browsing of materials related to the following general subject headings.
- Gerber/Hart Library and ArchivesFounded in 1981, Gerber/Hart’s collections focus on the culture and history of LGBTQ peoples and additional marginalized sexual and gender minorities in Chicago and the Midwest. Open to all, Gerber/Hart serves these communities by collecting, preserving, and making accessible collection items of individuals, organizations, and businesses, as well as publicly distributed items. Additionally, Gerber/Hart provides programming and exhibitions related to items in its collections and on other topics in LGBTQ history and culture.
- IHLIA LGBT HeritageIHLIA LGBT Heritage was established in 1999, and is an international archive of over 100,000 LGBT books, journals, magazines, films, documentaries, photographs, and objects.
- GLBT History Museum in San FranciscoThe GLBT Historical Society collects, preserves, exhibits and makes accessible to the public materials and knowledge to support and promote understanding of LGBTQ history, culture and arts in all their diversity.
