Procedure information in Vetlexicon
Within each species module, text articles for specific procedures are available.
In the search box, enter the procedure or surgery for which you need information. Under Media, select "articles".
Within each procedure article, the contents are broken down into several parts such as introduction, requirements, preparation, procedure, aftercare, and outcomes. To read a part without scrolling, click on the appropriate heading at the left menu.
Depending on the procedure or surgery, Vetlexicon often contains images that detail the steps involved for surgical procedures. Related images are easily accessed by clicking on the desired image in the Related Content list.
Lab test information in Vetlexicon
Within each species module, text articles detailing specific lab tests are available.
In the search box, enter the lab test you wish to search. Filter by content type "articles" and species.
Within each lab test article, the contents are broken into several parts: overview, sampling, tests, and result data. To read a section without scrolling, select the appropriate heading at the left menu.
To see images of lab tests when available, select the images option under Media. Annotation may be available on the image by selecting the descriptive links provided.
