Nexis Uni: FAQs & Research Tips

I only see news articles in my Nexis Uni search results. How do I search for legal sources?

A search from the Nexis Uni main search defaults to reflect only news articles. However this can be easily changed. From the search results page, select the source type that best fits your research need (located on the left side of the page, under "News") to only see source types.

Alternatively, you can select a pre-search filter by using the drop-down menu (to the left of the main search box) and change it from "All Nexis Uni" to the specific type of legal content you want to search.

Finally, you can also use the "Guided Search" located under the main search box on the Nexis Uni home page to search only law reviews, cases or a specific publication.

How do I locate law review or law journal articles in Nexis Uni?

Select "Law Reviews" on the Guided Search located in the middle of the home page to only search for law review articles.
