Suggested search terms - Try these in Discovery to get an idea of what the library has available.

Note:  not all of these terms will retrieve results that are appropriate to use for your assignments.  You may have to change them a little to narrow down your search.  To do this, use more specific terms, i.e. environmental sustainability, interior design and furnishings, or use synonyms/alternative descriptive terms such as interior decoration.

For assignment CIJ 1:

• Design thinking, systems thinking
• Design process
• Human-centered design
• Ethno-cultural diversity 
• Cultural diversity and interior design
• Interior design and furnishings
• Cultural Pluralism and Interior design
• Cultural differences
• Architecture and interior design pared with any of the cultural diversity terms listed above

You can mix and match any of these terms in your search strings.  Keep in mind that using all or several of these in one string might result in too many results or zero results.  When this happens, go back and refine your search by subtracting a few terms or using different ones.

• Architecture and interior decoration
