Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Resources

This guide is designed to support the study and practical application of resources related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) topics.

Introduction

This guide provides resources for self-education on various DEIA topics. Each topic page may contain key terms, examples of bias-free language, and related campus resources.

Each subtopic page has a reading list of ten (10) books to get you started on familiarizing yourself with the theories, issues, and general background information within that subtopic. Items on these lists can be requested via LSU Libraries, your local public library, or commercial vendor. There is a search box for the Libraries' catalog at the top of every subtopic page.

Note: The LSU Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (ODEI) has also compiled a Recommend Reading List for titles specifically related to race and antiracism, with special emphasis on those written by LSU faculty.
