Introduction

ReadCube

  • ReadCube:
    •  Allows members of the LSU community access to full-text articles from selected Nature titles.
      • Articles become accessible from off-campus by authenticating the proxy server by logging into your MyLSU account.
    • To access the full text of an article through Readcube from the publishers website, click on the article's title and then scroll down until you see 'Access options' and select free access from LSU.  This will provide a preview of the article.  To view and download the full text of the article select 'Buy PDF' on the right side of the page.  There is no charge to faculty, staff or students but LSU Libraries will be billed for the purchase of the article.

How much does it cost?

  • There is no fee associated with ReadCube access for LSU students or faculty for all titles that LSU does subscribe to. These articles are available for access off campus after they are saved to ReadCube.
  • You may gain access to Nature articles to which LSU does not subscribe via the Libraries' ILL Service.
